About Us
Bicester Vets is accredited under Tier 2 of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons Practice Standards Scheme. This is a voluntary scheme, and is aimed at practices wishing to attain very high standards.
Bicester Vets only employ the best staff to ensure that your pet receives the best possible care. Our dedication to clinical excellence is backed by our commitment to Continuing Professional Development (CPD) for all staff, ensuring that the most up-to-date treatments are available at a time when your pet needs it most.
Our dedicated receptionists are on hand to make your appointments and deal with any general queries you may have, and finally, the appointment of a Practice Manager in 2006 has allowed our veterinary staff to devote all of its time to the care and welfare of your pets.
Hospitalisation facilities are provided for the very sick and for those recovering from operations overnight. Our veterinary in-patient facilities are maintained to the highest standards of hygiene and comfort and include separate cat and dog wards, together with isolation and intensive care wards.
Surgery is performed on the premises in a modern operating suite using the most up to date anaesthetic drugs and equipment. Anaesthetic patients are closely monitored by our nursing staff throughout their operation and recovery, along with trained anaesthetic nurses, we have a range of vital sign monitoring equipment to ensure patient safety during anaesthesia.
X-rays, ultrasound and other diagnostic procedures are performed using the latest equipment and safety precautions so that we can identify the cause of any problems quickly. This enables Bicester Vets to offer the best possible advice to owners with the aim of returning their pets to good health.
